Mahalakshmi & Aranyani are both Bharatanatyam dancers.
Additionally, Mahalakshmi is a teacher, curator and independent researcher.
Aranyani is a choreographer, Artistic Director (Vyuti Dance Company), teacher and independent researcher.
In January 2024, Mahalakshmi decided to discontinue at Re-Cognising Dance, but continues to research and curate independently. Aranyani continues to run the platform to further their collective vision to make discussions around dance accessible to all.
